Follow The Directions

01

Step

In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, garlic, lemon juice, and Cajun seasoning. Cover and refrigerate the aioli while preparing the salmon patties. (Prep time: 5 minutes)

02

Step

In a medium bowl, gently combine the minced salmon, chives, parsley, garlic, and salt. Add the flour and mix until just combined. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and form into patties. (Prep time: 10 minutes)

03

Step

Preheat your air fryer to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Cut the lemon into 4 slices. (Prep time: 5 minutes)

04

Step

Place the lemon slices in the bottom of the air fryer basket to prevent sticking and impart a subtle citrus flavor. Arrange the salmon patties on top of the lemon slices. Lightly spray the patties with cooking spray for extra crispness. (Prep time: 2 minutes)

05

Step

Reduce the air fryer temperature to 275 degrees F (135 degrees C). This will ensure the patties cook evenly and remain moist. Place the basket into the air fryer. (Prep time: 1 minute)

06

Step

Cook the salmon patties in the air fryer until an instant-read thermometer inserted into the center of a patty reads 145 degrees F (63 degrees C), approximately 10 to 15 minutes. Serve immediately with the chilled aioli. (Cook time: 10-15 minutes)

For a richer flavor, try adding a tablespoon of Dijon mustard to the aioli.
If the salmon mixture is too wet, add a little more flour, one teaspoon at a time, until the patties hold their shape.
Feel free to substitute panko breadcrumbs for the flour for a crispier texture.
These salmon patties are also delicious served on toasted buns with lettuce and tomato for a quick salmon burger.
