Follow The Directions

01

Step

Heat vegetable oil in a large saucepan or wok over medium heat. (2 minutes)

02

Step

Add minced garlic and sliced onion; cook and stir until the onion softens and becomes translucent. (5 minutes)

03

Step

Introduce the shrimp, bok choy, broccoli, cauliflower, carrot, and green onions to the pan. Pour in water, cover, and cook until the shrimp is pink and opaque, and the vegetables are tender-crisp. (15 minutes)

04

Step

In a small bowl, dissolve cornstarch into fish sauce. Pour this mixture into the cap cai, followed by oyster sauce, sugar, and pepper. Stir until the sauce thickens. (3 minutes)

05

Step

Season with salt to taste before serving hot.

For a vegetarian option, omit the shrimp and add extra vegetables or tofu.
Feel free to substitute chicken or another protein for the shrimp.
Adjust the amount of fish sauce to your preference. If you're sensitive to salt, start with less and add more to taste.
Serve with brown rice or fried tofu.
