For a spicier kick, add a dash of hot sauce to the ground beef mixture. Use your favorite type of cheese! Pepper Jack or Gruyere would be delicious. If you don't have dill pickle slices, chopped sweet pickles work well too. These can be assembled ahead of time and baked just before serving. To prevent soggy bottoms, you can lightly toast the cut sides of the rolls before adding the beef mixture.
