For a milder pesto, reduce the amount of habanero-infused oil or use regular extra-virgin olive oil and add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
If you don't have Meyer lemons, regular lemons will work just fine.
Taste and adjust the seasoning as needed. You may want to add more salt, pepper, or lemon juice to brighten the flavors.
Store leftover pesto in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, or freeze for longer storage.
