Refrigerate the brownies for at least 15 minutes, or until the topping is firm and set. Cut into squares and serve. (15 minutes)

For extra fudgy brownies, slightly underbake them. The center should still be a little soft.
To prevent the peanut butter layer from sinking into the brownie batter, chill it for 15 minutes before dropping it onto the batter.
If you don't have crunchy peanut butter, you can use creamy peanut butter and add some chopped peanuts to the peanut butter mixture.
For a richer flavor, use salted butter in the Rice Krispies topping.
