Follow The Directions

01

Step
2 mins

In a medium bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, Sriracha sauce, minced garlic, and chopped cilantro. (2 minutes)

02

Step
3 mins

Place the chicken thighs in a resealable bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring each piece is well coated. (3 minutes)

03

Step
4 hrs

Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours for maximum flavor. (30 minutes - 4 hours)

04

Step
20 mins

Grill the marinated chicken thighs over medium heat until cooked through, about 6-8 minutes per side, or stir-fry with your favorite vegetables until the chicken is cooked thoroughly. Discard the remaining marinade. (15-20 minutes)

For a sweeter flavor, add a tablespoon of honey or brown sugar to the marinade.
If you don't have fresh cilantro, dried cilantro can be used, but fresh is recommended for the best flavor.
The marinade can also be used for other cuts of chicken, such as breasts or drumsticks. Adjust cooking times accordingly.
To reduce the sodium content, use low-sodium soy sauce.

I tried it with chicken breasts and it was still amazing. I just made sure not to overcook them. Thanks for the recipe!

Adding a little honey really balanced out the heat from the Sriracha. Great tip!

I stir-fried the chicken with broccoli and bell peppers, and it was a quick and delicious weeknight meal. Will definitely make this again!
