Warm a stemmed glass or heat-proof mug with hot water, then discard the water. (2 minutes)

Add the brown sugar to the glass, followed by the Irish whiskey. (1 minute)

Pour in the hot coffee and stir well until the sugar is completely dissolved. (2 minutes)

Gently float the lightly whipped cream on top of the coffee by pouring it slowly over the back of a spoon. The cream should form a distinct layer. (3 minutes)
For an extra layer of flavor, consider using demerara sugar instead of brown sugar.
If you prefer a sweeter drink, adjust the amount of brown sugar to your liking.
Ensure the coffee is hot, but not scalding, to avoid curdling the cream.
For a more stable whipped cream topping, add a teaspoon of powdered sugar while whipping.
