Follow The Directions

01

Step

Combine the chilled mango, cold water, and freshly squeezed orange juice in a high-speed blender. (2 minutes)

02

Step

Blend on medium-low speed until completely smooth, scraping down the sides as needed to ensure all ingredients are fully incorporated. (3 minutes)

03

Step

Add the granulated sugar to the blender. (1 minute)

04

Step

Continue to blend until the sugar is completely dissolved and the mixture is homogenous. Taste and adjust sweetness if desired, adding a touch more sugar or orange juice. (2 minutes)

05

Step

Pour the mixture into your ice cream maker. (1 minute)

06

Step

Freeze according to the manufacturer's instructions. This usually takes between 20-30 minutes depending on your machine. (30 minutes)

07

Step

Once the sorbet has reached your desired consistency (soft-serve or firmer), transfer it to an airtight container and freeze for at least 2 hours to allow it to fully harden. (120 minutes)

For an extra burst of flavor, consider adding a pinch of lime zest or a few drops of mango extract to the mixture before freezing.
If you don't have an ice cream maker, you can still make this sorbet! Pour the blended mixture into a freezer-safe container and freeze for 2-3 hours, stirring every 30 minutes to break up ice crystals. This will result in a slightly icier texture, but it will still be delicious.
Feel free to adjust the amount of sugar to your liking, depending on the sweetness of your mangoes and oranges.
