For an even richer flavor, use heavy cream instead of half-and-half in the sauce. Feel free to experiment with different types of mushrooms, such as cremini or shiitake. If you don't have fresh lemon juice, 1/2 teaspoon of bottled lemon juice will work in a pinch. To prevent the cheese from burning, broil for the last minute or two instead of baking.
